SkullHeads Backgrounds
ok so 7,8,9 years ago in our studio Grozen Ent. we had Internships, and one of the internships was animation, we had lotsa talented guy coming over, so we decided to put up a real project for animation, that all interns could work on. the project was a ripoff or as we say heavily inspired by the french short animation Pyrats, Pirats of the Carribean and Monty Python.
I went in the role of Director, storyboard artist and I did all the visual development for it. Needless to say internship ended before we finished it, but we have a WIP video that is very close to me heart and all the concepts, layouts, storyboards and backgrounds that I did :)
So I'm thinking- it's been so long I can post stuff, so I'll be showing you some of the materials in few installments
these are, I think, all the backgrounds I managed to paint...
I'm reworking the story and updating the characters to make some comics with them in the future, but for now, this is it
I was trying to figure out the style of painting for the backgrounds, this was my first try, I still like it, too bad I didn't go with it :D
